We were offered a wonderful apartment with a roof-top terrace. Breakfast had lots of variety (by Italian standards) and very attentive staff.
We didn't mind but there was no lift to take us to the 3rd floor apartment - it was worth the climb.

The people on the staff a very courteous and helpful. We enjoy the morning breakfast and have become friendly with several of the workers. We have stayed at Il Guercino at least four times, and would return again if staying in Bologna.
