Central Inn am Hauptbahnhof

Close to Central Station about 10 minute walk. The accommodation sector was clean. If you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay then can recommend.

The building has several floors and is a multi use building which generally requires a facelift as it is run down. The accommodation area requires a repaint especially the windows. Receptionists friendly enough but speak very little English.. if they wish to attract overseas visitors it would be more helpful. If you are looking for something a little more upmarket then wouldnt stay here.

Very unhappy about the fact that we had paid for the room and told us that it was not paid! He had returned by mail the invoice to be paid back in a second time!

I chose to stay in an apartment, and it was great to have a little extra space for just hanging out in. Whilst not extremely central, it was only a short walk from the hotel to reach the Hauptbahnhof. The bathroom was impeccably clean, with no smell or sign of mildew.

Despite requesting a non-smoking room, the apartment smelled of stale tobacco when I walked in. Although there was a kettle and toaster provided, it would have been a nice touch to have complementary tea & coffee. Also, the room wasn't serviced at all during my stay.

Berlin building great atmosphere, but unfortunately this also hear everything. loud creaking floor boards on the floor disturb their sleep. problem instance, as in almost all cheap hotels: IntermediateSpaces lime / mildew in the shower enclosure. website provides a picture of luxury

Clean, simple, nice bed, nice staff

I came to sleep and do some important work on the Internet. The Internet connection was hopeless. So slow!!! I actually left the hotel very, very early to find a hotspot at the train station, so i could do my work. I am very, very disappointed .... Internet is not just Internet, please notice that, next time I think ... yes ... I do not know what to do, but not this Hotel.

An older building, but ok. Late Sign-in was good because we arrived after a klo.23. The breakfast buffet bar next door was absolutely fantastic, a lot all the best on offer.

Internet access is not working for some reason, after midnight?! Ok in the morning. Subscribe to the parking lot was poorly because of neighborhood street parking.

Somewhat close to the center of the city.

There were numerous incidents that my family and I disliked very much while we stayed at Hotel Central Inn, Berlin: they asked us to pay upfront the entire sum for the nights we were supposed to stay unlike any other business that charges you after the service is delivered; front desk personnel spoke very little English and were rude, hotel staff refused to contact hotel manager for us, and when we called and emailed the hotel manager/owner on our own he never responded; staff didn't do anything to accommodate or help when we had a problem or complain; no hot water at times, small television, no tissues, no soap refills, no working internet even though they mention online that they provide free wi-fi, room smelled like cigarettes, Newman's restaurant had oily/salty food. When asked to return the money for the nights we didn't stay they refused to give any money back, even though their policy is to give back 20%. After checking surrounding hotels and pensions, we concluded that this hotel charges DOUBLE the price that another pension with same amenities does. We also noticed that many other hotel stayers were complaining about the same issues as well. Very unhappy with this pension, which they title a "hotel".

WiFi was not free and after travelling for the last three months, this was the first place that had a charge on use. We did not use the WiFi and the receptionist insisted we pay 20SF because she had given us the password. I refused to pay and explained that we were not told at first instance, that there would be a charge.
