Very convenient to centre of town and although our room was on the main street, we weren't too bothered by the sound of traffic.
We were unable to get our televisions to work but it wasn't a big problem as we were in our rooms for a limited amount of time.

Location and private garage (although one has to pay)
Non existant 'english speaking' TV channel. Limited Refreshment services. NO restaurant or casual dining. Shower in en-suite broken. Generally the Hotel is badly in need of updating, surroundings are rather gloomy. Room was not ready at 'check-in';however,the Receptionist was hepful and informative.

The helpful and friendly staff. The Garden Terrace and pool area were well kept.The ability to park off the road was excellent.

We had a great few days in the hotel. We did book rooms with a bath (although we didn't realise this at the time as it was with bookings.com and they didn't ask for a preference) and ended up with a bath and telephone shower, which sprayed water everywhere, which was a nuisance, not only to us but I am sure to the person cleaning the room. However, the room was clean, well presented and in good order. The owner of the hotel was charming and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay enormously.

Just what we expected.

Handy for excellent market. Friendly, helpful staff who found us a really cheeful taxi driver for the start of our return home.

Very clean with nice staff. Also a good location if you want to be in the center of Bergerac.
