Ikonik Ramblas

The room was a good size and the bed was massive and really comfortable. Room was clean and modern and our room looked out onto the Ramblas. The staff were excellent especially Marta who looked after us at breakfast. She advised us on some places to visit and couldn't have been more helpful - one of the bigger hotels is sure to steal her and put her in charge of Customer Services!

We were very surprised that there were no drawers in our room - part fom the stuff we could put on hangers, we had nowhere to put our clothes!! this meant that we had to live out of our suitcases which wasn't ideal. I don't understand why this was the case. I get the feeling the hotel is trying to be modern and trendy and we could tell that they had spent a lot of money on quality items but some things you do need. I think somewhere to put your clothes is a must and unfortunately this would stop me from booking again. The room looked such a mess after we had been there for only five minutes because we had nowhere to put our things. Also tea and coffee making facilities would be a good addition.
