Great hotel great service and staff

I adoured this hotel, absolutely fabulous. The style, food, location, rooms. The Spa treatments however were very pricey & we were quite dissapointed but that is the only critism.

Perfect. The location is one of the best in Barcelona. The rooftop lounge and bar with heated pool, after a day of sightseeing is a rare treat! We will return and will highly recommend the hotel to everyone.

This beautiful hotel, well located, is extremely poorly managed. Nobody takes care of you when you arrive. You go to employees who do not care about you and absolutely no less of your luggage. We give you your key and it look to you to find your room and always wearing your luggage. Same problem with the form of breakfast: about 4 days, I had to fetch twice the réception.Quant initially personnen Needless to say, is interested in your taxi and you always carry your baggage itself. The bartender considers customers as people who interrupt his phone conversation. He is not alone: there is always an employee on the ground floor which is on the phone. I had never seen such contempt for the customer in a hotel of this category. In short, despite his situation, I do not return to this establishment which had been recommended by a friend who, more nervous than I was immediately scolded management. I regret not having done so.

My partner and I had a fantastic time. The room was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I sincerely recommend staying at 1898. The location is perfect if you want to be on top of the Ramblers.

Highly recommended to ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY...For all future trips to Barcelona.

LOVELY HOTEL, UNFORTUNATELY COULD ONLY STAY FOR ONE NIGHT. LOVED THE ROOF TERACE. SWIMMING POOL LOOKED LOVELY BUT WAS CLOSED THE DAY WE STAYED SO COULDNT USE.
