Generally very aceptable and meal bar prices good for Ireland
We realise the weather was hotter than usuual for Ireland but the rooms would have been so much more welcoming had the roof windows(only window) been opened to ventilate the room before we arrived. It only needed the door propped open foran hour with window open to drop temperature to a tolerable level

Comfortable friendly, perfect location for exploring the Burren. Basic, not luxury but value for money.
As hotel full, staff overstretched at breakfast. Older rooms tired, problem with an non opening window in room, luckily bathroom window opened.

The room was comfortable, adequately furnished and warm, the meals were very varied and enjoyable, the pub ambience was very good and it was a great base to use for our travels around the Burren.
There appears to be a forgotten switch behind the headboard in room 41 which kept switching the light off while reading.

Location, receptionist, room
I got mouldy toast, the bath drain was full of hair, I couldnt get out of hotel early in the morning as there was no night porter, cooked breakfast was too late for marathon, second day breakfast was chaotic, service was poor.
