The staff were helpful and very friendly. The room we were in was large and airy and although overlooking the car park, it had a view to the sea and beyond, which was lovely. The swimming pool was a good size and the water temperature was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to friends.
In a room of the size we had, we felt that a king size bed would have been preferable and also a better mattress - memory foam? Also, in the bathroom the towel rail was broken and there was no-where to hang extra towels.

We have stayed at Fairfield on many occasions and never been disappointed. Good atmosphere and very very relaxing. Good place for a chill out.

Food and service particularly good. From the friendliness of reception staff to the steady paced serivce during meals.

Clean and inviting.
I heard lots of comments about the art work, it really wasnt very nice sitting at dinner and seeing a disfigured man screaming. Art was horrible nobody like it and in fact one group of people always ate out because they found it to offensive.

Fairfield house overlooks on to the seafront. The bedrooms are pleasantly designed with all the amenities you should require - however the televisions are looking rather old. Apart from this the breakfast was delicious and staff were really friendly.

Absolutely great - just what we needed after a wild sea crossing.

You don't seem to score food ? The dinner and breakfast were excellent and very good value for money. As were the leisure facilities.
Very minor moan, the double bed was of a standard size - when you are used to a Queen at home it was a difficult to stay on board !

Having been on many golf tours to Ayreshire this was by far the best accomodation we have stayed in both in terms of location and comfort.Upon our next tour to Ayreshire we will definately stay at this hotel.

Room 7 was top notch, what a view!! Helped by being sunny for the 5 days we were thee of course..!!
The swimming pool not being available for most of our stay. No beans for breakfast 3 days running...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you and would not hesitate to reccomend you to our friends should they be visiting the area. The staff in the bar and restraunt were very professional, helpful and very pleasant.

The overall ambience and location.
The initial welcome by your receptionist left a lot to be desired a smile costs nothing but creates a warm welcome.
