I loved the room the breakfast thought staff were wonderful and really enjoyed my stay
I was staying in the tower and had to get two lifts

Very central, free parking, free internet access in lobby, reasonably priced bar food (or restaurant choice), comfortably and modern rooms with low noise and good breakfast buffet. The bar and breakfast managers were excellent.
Initial problem at reception with choice of room, offering me alternative? Insisted that room had been confirmed by email and no other correspondence to the contrary received in the interim. Was then told problem had been sorted! The room in the tower we received didn't quite have view requested at time of booking, so wee bit disappointed. Instead of the Shannon was an electricity mast, although the church to right was nice.

What impressed us most was the staff, who were all so friendly and helpful. And of course the comfort. My sister who has stayed at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel many times recommended this hotel to us.

We enjoyed the friendly staff,the leisure centre,the food.
The radio in the bathroom would not turn off. We did request a smoking room and a room with a view when we booked on line. Sarah on reception was very helpful in giving us a room.

The staff were very good at there work.The location is very central.I had a face massage and was very impressed with the skill of the lady that done same.I had a complaint about shower in the room and i received a note and a bottle of wine for any inconvience caused.
The view from the room was terrible,and the shower with no door only a shower curtain is just a turn off. We ate in the bar and we ordered club sandwich and it took 30 minutes to get it .

I was very happy with my stay in the Sheraton, my room was on the 9th floor in the Tower and was amazing! The location is fantastic. I had my 4 month old baby wit me and found the hotel for child friendly. I was booked into the spa and found it most relaxing the treatments and service were amazing.
Because I had a four month old baby time is very important with feeds etc... Myself and my husband oredered food at 7:15 as we needed to feed and put our little boy down at 8, however at 7:40 there was still no sign (by the way it was just a toasted sandwich and chips) my husband had to go to the counter and ask again the food came at 7:55 my baby was distressed -I couldn't eat the meal my husband wolfed his but it was a bit of a stresser! My only negative experience....
