Alexandre Hotel La Siesta

I stay 75 % of the year in hotels around europe for business, and can say that I was very happy with my choice of Hotel La Siesta in Playa de las Americas.

Good location,close to beach.The room and pool area looked just like it was published on the web site.Large room with view of the pool area was definetely the right choice to make. Food was plentiful,great salads,lots of fresh bananas and a fairly large selection of hot items to choose from for dinner. Dinner was served till 10pm,which is great when you check in late. Lacking at the breakfast buffet however was some good coffee. We would have preferred our own pot of freshly brewed coffee at our table. The refreshment stations that dispense juices,coffee and hot water are messy and overcrowded. Hotel staff and dining room staff was friendly, except the service in the bar was somewhat slow for 5pm when only 6 other guests were in the bar. Fresh towels were provided every day and room was clean, however the drapes and bedspread were pretty worn and should be replaced. The room safe rental price was acceptable, however I found the rate to use the internet quite high.
