The concierge staff was extremely helpful every time we sought advice about things to see/do, restaurants, walking paths, etc. Their advice never failed, and they took plenty to time to review maps, print instructions, provide tickets, etc.
Just one quirk -- our room was in the adjacent building and there did not appear to be a walking route from our room to the lobby without using 2 separate elevators (stairs led down only to emergency doors at street level).

Very unhappy about the fact that we had paid for the room and told us that it was not paid! He had returned by mail the invoice to be paid back in a second time!

We came as a family but hadn't ordered an extra bed (3 children) - but our request was dealt with promptly, without any fuss. Very friendly service and staff; we felt the hotel was great value for money, and extremely well-situated.

The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. We were very well treated with a birthday gift and cards left in our room for our 40th birthday. Also the lounge bar is fantastic with very nice complimentary snacks and drinks in comfortable surroundings with a nice ambiance.
I was disappointed with the entertainment in the room, i.e 4 radio stations of which only 2 worked-namely classic and talk stations. Also there were TV channels in English, but the variety was limited.

This was the fourth stay in 6 months in a Marriott and you have not yet completed the upgrades I have enjoyed in your other hotels. We enjoyed the stay and the staff as always were most helpfull.
