Nice staff, free upgrade to a nice room, common areas are lovely, bed very comfy. Excellent location.

It was a surprise to have to pay local taxes when checking out. I thought it was completely paid for with my reservation.

They have no imposed a surcharge of 50 €. Supposedly for a more comfortable bed without telling us at the reception room. At the price of the room, I find this unacceptable.

The hotel was known to us, reason enough to book there.

Its central location in Amsterdam

In the bidding came good story whether we wanted to trade for room. For a canal room with balcony, smaller, but unfortunately the bed! We committed the mistake by Geres. no room to check who was originally booked. Result: we have 2 nights in a much too narrow bed to sleep only 140cm wide, 180 cm is normal! A real negative point. Room was sometimes cheaper? But otherwise everything was fine.

Main reason for choosing Pulitzer Amsterdam: Reputation

Experience by our own guests and staff was reduced because some furniture and a number of visible things a little more worn look. Time for a revamp of the hotel with many possibilities and a fine tradition. For some, the routing ite neter indicate bijvooprbeeld to bar and breakfast area, a route and color ("green route") to lift C & D (eg blue route) so people can easily ori "boarding.

Charming hotel in a great location - perfect for walking around the major attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our only slight criticism was that the room was quite small - although not suprising for a hotel converted from several Amsterdam Townhouses.
