ibis Amsterdam Centre

Very friendly and helpful staff and no problem storing luggage if you arrive early and/or leave Amsterdam late. Great location right next to train station and very close to tourist office. Rooms small but adequate and very clean. Perfect for a base when visiting the sights. Would deffinitely recommend.

Overall this hotel is ideal for a City Break with its central location. Unfortunately, the following let the hotel down: 1. On several occasions the bar ran out of vodka - you would'nt expect this from a hotel of a big chain, such as IBIS. 2. The hotel bar on the Saturday night closed at 1 am - again you would expect a residents bar so long as it was required from a hotel like this. 3. We had 2 rooms booked on my booking, unfortunately a couple of my friends had problems getting their breakfast on about 4 mornings out of the 6 although they did get recompensed for the inconvenience - again you would nt expect this sort of situation to arise at an IBIS hotel.
