Fine location within walking distance of Vondel Park and the Van Gogh. Single room was small, but perfectly functional and clean. No A/C, so the front rooms were somewhat noisey from the street with windows open. Double rooms on back side would be better but more $$$. Wireless internet included. Wonderful breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff. I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at about 6 different hotels in the netherlands this past june 2007 and zandbergen was excellent. the staff were genuinely kind and helpful and the room was just perfect. can't say enough good things. easy to get everywhere by tram. just get the strippenkaart.

It was a friendly hotel, in a quiet area. We look for the right price when we go to Amsterdam, and for this price we would visit this hotel again.
