Main reason for choosing Amsterdam Marriott Hotel: Reputation
The Staff did their best to be friendly. The situation of the Hotel in Amsterdam very near the main sightseeing places.
The dining room was firstly too small to cope with the breakfast guests.
We were sitting like chickens in a pen. With temperatures under freezing, it is difficult to have breakfast in a small room with single glassed windows panes and a draft coming through every window. The dining room has literally a big problem in the Hotel. Both the breakfast and dinner are not of Marriott quality or standard and should be improved for these prices. The lack of certain services that should be given by a 5* Hotel. Morning newspaper, extended toiletries, a larger variety of breakfast food.

Great location next to the Vondel Park and in front of the lively Leidsplein, perfect to go sightseeing and to have plenty of places to eat around. The room are cosy, beds very large (king size), comfortable with great pillows. The fitness center is not huge but never overcrowded and offers a wide range of machines to work out. The staff is amazing, very nice and always keen on helping you whatever you need.

In the bathroom of room 260 had a slight sewer air. It did not come out of the shower drain, but the luchtververser in the ceiling. Incidentally, we were pretty happy.
