good breakfasts
Had to climb 2 sets of steep stairs to get to our room
20 minute walk to nearest public transportation

Main reason for choosing Alp de Veenen Hotel: Rate
Parking is an advantage. The hotel is quite a distance from Amsterdam but the bus station is close by.
A continental breakfast served at the table is a nice feature.
The 3* classification would not meet international criteria.
Given the general levels of comfort and poor maintenance of the building a 2* grade would be more appropriate. A tariff of Euro 70 is the absolute maximum, in my opinion.

Everything - the first meeting at reception they said" my you got this at a very cheap rate " - if they feel this they should not work with you
The Hotel frankly was a DUMP and should be raised to the ground
we do however like Eurobookings = its slick and clear
