The staff were very friendly and helpful we felt more than welcome! We are from Canada and the staff were more than happy to share experiences we should take in while in Almere and in the area Greatly Appreciated and thanks again for everything :)

Oldish hotel. Restaurant offering s limited. Smoker Lounge

I did not like at all that room rate and breakfast rate are 2 separate lines and the hotel personnell was unable to sort this out.I already asked the stuff when I checked in to include the breakfast in the room rate. They told me - yes no problem, just tell at your check-out butthey were not able to do this - because I had booked the room via Eurobookings.com. Really strange. I will only consider a re-booking of this hotel when the roomrate includes the breakfast.

Main reason for choosing Bastion Hotel Almere: Facilities
Cleanliness of the room was brought down by the spiders present in the room (despite the hurdles the window). The hotel used meal was woefully inadequate (perhaps by conversion?), Definitely not worth the money.
Advantage and reason for choosing this hotel was the private parking. The staff was very friendly.
