"Nightlight" was excellent..gave enough light at night, without disturbing partner.
Good food with plenty of choice.
Staff very attentive.
Basin plug was missing for the duration of our stay. (We did report it)
We were not asked if we wished to pay in local currency or sterling but on the credit card receipt, it stated that we had been asked! (Would have preferred to pay in local currency)

The location was great and lovely town
I stay 3 nights two night where good but third night the bathroom was untidy and rubbish was left in the room, not nice but to tired to complain. It seem like the cleaners just gave it the once over and next morning I complained and the girl at the desk just said sorry?

We have stayed at the Abbeyleix Manor a few previous occasions and we can only speak in glowing terms about this hoel .The owner Jenny and her staff go that extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible .We will definitely be returning and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others .A gem not to be missed .

My one night stay at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel was most enjoyable. I arrived late evening so did not avail of the dining facilities. The bar was fine, the bar staff excellent. I will go back again when next in that part of the country. At 34euro for the room it is real value for money.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean.
The t.v.reception was snowy which is not very acceptable in this day and age.
