We were entirely content. We met the hotel shuttle at the airport late, at 23.15, and were taken to the nearby hotel where we found our pre-reserved room waiting; we were comfortably asleep only a little after midnight. We woke to a very comfortable room, showered, and had a good breakfast (choosing sensibly to order a la carte rather than a full breakfast). When pilots and stewardesses pushed ahead of us and piled into and filled the shuttle we had expected to take back to the airport, the hotel added a second shuttle for its guests to make their flight—which we did, easily. A reassuringly easy transition for birds of passage, as we were.
