Yalıkavak has grown in size over recent years and is very much a place where the locals welcome tourists with open arms. There is a small weekly market, an old style bazaar and shopping area with a few boutiques dotted around.
The town centre and main beach are 5 km from the Hillside gardens. The hotel offers a shuttle transfer service to Yalikavak beach and Bodrum.
