The Restaurant Mercur is a popular dining spot for both hotel guests and local food lovers. Our Restaurant Manager and her team look forward to giving you a treat, regardless of whether the occasion is an intimate dinner for 2, a large party or an important business meeting.

For non-hotel guests breakfast is available for an additional charge.

Rooms have a view over the rooftops of the south-west part of the city.

Breakfast:
Monday to Friday: 06:30 to10:00.
Saturday: 07:00 to 10:00.
Sunday: 08:00 to 11:00.

Restaurant:
Monday to Friday: 17:30 to 21:30.
Saturday: 17:30 to 21:30
Sunday: closed.

Aarhus offers entertainment in Tivoli Friheden amusement park, inspiration in the exciting shopping environment of the Latin Quarter, atmosphere in the city’s numerous cafés, soul cleansing on the shores of the Bay of Aarhus and peace and quiet in the many forests around the city.

Within an hour’s drive, Legoland, Randers Rainforest Tropical Zoo, Djurs Sommerland (Adventure Park) and the Kattegat Centre (aquarium) are all waiting with great experiences.

By Car:
The Hotel Mercur is located on Viby Torv (Square), close to the motorway E45 and all approach roads to Aarhus, so we are easy to find.

From the south, on the E45:
-About 4 km after exit 51, the motorway divides into 2.
-Keep to the right, heading for Aarhus C-S.
-This exit ends at traffic lights, where you turn to the right.
-At the next traffic lights, turn left, and then turn right immediately at Viby Center shopping centre, with which Hotel Mercur shares parking facilities. Remember to get a parking permit from the reception.

From the north, on the E45:
-Leave the motorway at exit 47 (Aarhus V).
-Turn left on to the main road 26.
-Turn right on to 02 (the outer ring road).
-After about 5 km, turn left at the crossroads with the furniture store DOMO, and then turn right immediately at Viby Centre shopping centre, with which Hotel Mercur shares parking facilities. Remember to get a parking permit from the reception.

By car from the Port of Aarhus:
-Turn left into Skolebakken (road number 451).
-Then turn right on to the O1 (Marselis Boulevard – the inner ring road).
-Turn left at the crossroads with Skanderborgvej (road no. 178).
-At the crossroads at Viby Torv, turn right on to the O2 (Viby Ringvej – the outer ring road).
-Turn right immediately at Viby Center shopping centre, with which Hotel Mercur shares parking facilities. Remember to get a parking permit from the reception.

By bus from the centre of Aarhus:
There are several buses from the centre of Aarhus that go to Viby Torv, including line numbers 5, 9, 15, 25 and 26. All buses leave from Park Allé. Get on infront of the Aarhus Town Hall, and then you will be heading in the right direction. Get off at Viby Torv.
