Terme Tuhelj

The activities team at Terme Tuhelj offer you a weekly program of experience and fun including guided hiking tours through the Zagorje hills, evening torchlit walks, morning gymnastics, water games, wine tasting in the Mihanovic castle, night swimming, workshops and paint ball.

Within the hotel complex, there is a sheltered swimming area with three pools - one for swimmers, one for children and a therapeutic pool. In addition, there is a massage centre, Finnish sauna, a sports hall and a hall for table tennis. At your service in the hotel we have several bars and a night club.

The Mihanovic castle contains, in addition to the conference rooms, two smaller salons for working meetings and private business lunches.

In the hotel itself there is a conference hall with seating for up to 300 people and business apartments suitable for small group workshops and meetings.

We have a unique colour system to suit your comfort and tastes - giving you the freedom to choose the mood in which you wish to spend your stay. Choose from a room in green, yellow, blue or red.

The baroque Mihanovic castle is a unique venue for business meetings and congresses, dream weddings and other festive occasions. The menu offers traditional dishes from Zagorje, other Croatian national specialties and the castle cuisine.

The wine boutique is ideally suited for business gatherings, family reunions and similar occasions. The Blue Salon can accommodate up to 120 persons, the Green Salon and the Protocol Hall up to 15, while the wine boutique accommodates 50.

Imagine being invited to a dinner from times past, in the wine boutique of a castle, with a plentiful selection of medieval dishes, drinks and atmosphere. The recipes are those of our forefathers, the drinks are poured into clay jugs and, if you feel like it, you may dance on thick wooden tables.

Terme Tuhelj was built at the source of underground thermal water and natural healing mud and is surrounded by the untouched green hills of Zagorje. Only 40 km from Zagreb, this is a great tourist attraction and represents an ideal location for an active holiday or one of relaxation, body and mind, in the midst of a beautiful landscape.

Close to the hotel is the 18th century Mihanovic castle and the congress centre.

As well as the facilities listed, you can have a massage or a sauna The sports grounds and sports hall have, amongst other things, basketball and volleyball courts.

In order to reach Terme Tuhelj you have to follow the highway Zagreb - Maribor/Celje. Take the 2nd exit for Zabok. After about 5 or 600 meters you can follow the road signs to Terme Tuhelj.
