The magnificent Prinsenhof Dukes' Palace in Bruge has been carefully restored and will open in March as the latest Kempinski hotel.
Built to celebrate the wedding of Philippe the Good, the Prinsenhof will now offer visitors to Bruges luxurious comfort in 93 rooms and suites.
An old convent and historic castle form part of the development and many of the rooms are listed as historic, featuring 15th century decoration and paintings that have been restored.
The ballroom, chapel and park are unique attractions of this new hotel. It also has a fitness and wellness centre.
The Kempinski Hotel Dukes' Palace is located just 200 metres from the main market place with its famous clock tower. The major attractions of this picturesque town are all within walking distance.
Bruges is known as the Venice of the north because of the medieval town's many canals and it has been recognised by Unesco as a world heritage site.
