The Balearic island of Ibiza offer much more than hedonistic clubbing holidays, a travel expert insists.
While its party reputation accounts for swarms of teen ravers every year, those seeking a more tranquil vacation retreat will also be satisfied by what Ibiza can offer, according to Paul Bradley.
The Spanish Property Owners Guild (Spog) spokesman says: "Outside of vomit alley and footballer stag parties abundant in San Antonio, the rest of the island has a quaint charm for families who actually want to spend quality time together."
He adds "quiet coves, lovely water and great sailing opportunities hopping round the islands" offer much more than resorts on mainland Spain can.
Holidaymakers keen on emulating the stars may also be interested to learn the island is favoured by British crooner James Blunt, who has a property in Ibiza, as well as a host of other celebrities who regularly vacation here.
The Balearic Islands are located between Spain and the North African coast. The four main islands are, in order of size, Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
