With spectacular views of Torbay and within walking distance of the beach, the harbour and the town centre, the Nethway Hotel is a great choice for a short break or for a relaxing, restful, restorative break on the picturesque South Devon coast. The hotel specialises in group holidays and can cater for coaching holidays, whilst also warmly welcoming private guests.

The public areas and bedrooms are well decorated to a high standard and the hotel prides itself on employing friendly and efficient staff to help you enjoy your stay.

Ample off-road parking is available for guests’ use free of charge and on most nights entertainment is provided for your enjoyment (subject to numbers).

The outdoor swimming pool is a feature of the beautiful gardens, which are noted for being a gorgeous suntrap during Torquay’s summer months.

Bus services into the town centre run from directly outside the hotel and during the summer season, a service also runs to the village of Cockington.

The bright, airy rooms are comfortable, attractively decorated and well equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need to enjoy a restful, relaxing holiday.

Breakfast is normally served between 08:30 and 09:15, but an earlier time can be provided if you need to make an early start. A 4-course evening meal is served at 18:30, with traditional English home cooking available at a reasonable price.

The hotel prides itself on providing a tasty, varied menu using local produce wherever possible. Those with special dietary needs or allergies can be accommodated by prior request. After dinner, the well-stocked bar is the ideal place to enjoy your favourite drink with new-found friends, or you can relax in our lounge and enjoy the hotel’s entertainment programme (subject to numbers).

The wealth of attractions in Torquay and all along the Riviera ensure that there is always something to suit all the family and, even when the sun doesn’t shine, there is always something to keep everyone entertained. There is plenty to see and do, with sporting opportunities widely available and a rich variety of evening entertainment provided throughout the Bay, all year round. There are also plenty of great bars and vibrant nightclubs in Torquay.

The views across the bay towards the English Channel are stunning and Torquay is also an ideal base from which to visit Dartmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth.

By Car (from the Penn Inn roundabout at Newton Abbot):
- Take the exit onto Torquay Road and continue through the town of Kingskerswell.
- At the roundabout, continue straight ahead onto Riviera Way.
- Bear right at Newton Road (next to Torre train station) and continue onto Avenue Road.
- Take a sharp turn onto Falkland Road and the Nethway Hotel can be found on the right-hand side.

The hotel does not accept single sex groups, except by prior arrangement.
