Torba is a quiet sea-side village and about 5 km from Bodrum. Torba’s rural setting is filled with olive groves and pinewoods, generating a different feel from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum. The castle grounds include a Museum of Underwater Archaeology, which displays excavations from a number of shipwrecks. The castle area also hosts several festivals during the year.
