The staff was helpful and answered all questions we had. The room was acceptable. Had requested a high floor but we were put on the second floor. Not the best, but OK. Beds were comfortable and the linens were excellent. Also had extra pillows. Very nice.
The location is also excellent.
The exterior was very dirty. Since the building really doesn't fit into the beautiful architecture of the location, it needs to be clean and well kept. Cleaning and paint-job is needed.

The very comfortable & large room, with a fabulous view from the balcony. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. The view from the restaurant, lounge & bar areas was breathtaking.
The appearance of it from the outside- it looked shabby & our hearts sank when we saw it. However, once inside it looked fine, but first impressions do count, & if we hadn't had to pay for our stay in advance, the outside appearance may have made us see if anywhere else had a room for us. That would have been a mistake as it was lovely inside.

Very quiet in hotel, being January. Very good buffet breakfast. Because of the central location, parking could be a problem especially high season and at weekends.
