we were very pleased with our stay in the hotel and we found the staff very friendly and we will certainly come back again.

I throught that the hotel was well situated and a short walk to the town center.I have stayed in york a few times i found the room to be clean and well presented and also the staff to be polite and freindly and the breakfast to be very nice i would not hesitate to stay there again i have already suggested it to my friends and family thank you for a nice stay though only a short stay.

We think the Blue Bridge Hotel is value for money. The staff are helpful and courteous, the breakfast was very well cooked. We would stay again.

well situated, has parking facilities, rooms ok, need refurbishing but are ok. restaurant & bar was closed for refurbishing but due to re-open early 2008. lack of restaurant & bar was main disappointment, however we've booked again for late 2008

This hotel was very convenient for walking along the river into York. Breakfast was great - freshly cooked and not a buffet. Our double room wasn't very big but it was comfortable. It was reasonably priced and I would stay there again.

	I liked being close to the river. It was also convenient for the university - we were taking our daughter to York University.
	Corridors rather narrow, paintwork needs redoing. It's on quite a busy road, opposite a bingo hall.

although the staff are efficient and food very good my experience of my single room was not so satisfactory for two reasons. A/ the mattress on the bed needs replacing because it felt as if you were sleeping on the side of a hill, i had to place a pillow under the mattress to level it up to at least get mildly comfortable sleep and secondly the toilet pan need cleaning which i did my self. >plus the remote to the TV

Not as pictured in 2006 Yorkshire Guide. Dining room/breakfast fine. Cleanliness of room poor/smelly. No restaurant as stated in guide. Lounge TV never working. Bar dark,no atmosphere.

One of the best breakfasts I have had. The hotel was all it claimed.Close to all amenities, ample parking, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

	The hotel was in easy walking distance of the town centre and all amenities including a pleasant walk along the river.

Good bed, good food, plenty of hot water, efficient central heating, good parking in small courtyard. But small TV that did not receive all channels, poor bedroom furniture, poor bathroom fittings (bits missing) particularly shower. Rather lot of noise from road traffic.
