Oakley Court Hotel

The pound/dollar exchange rate is a killer to us at this time but this is the third time my family has stayed at Oakley Court since 1989 and it is still one of our favorite place as well as our favorite place to stay when we fly into London. FYI: I first discovered Oakley Court in the AAA guide for the UK in 1989 in planning a summer study trip to the University of St. Andrews

	The service all around, dining room, housekeeping, reception were all service oriented and polite and helpful.

Very good location and perfect for us as we were attending the BMW Championship and Wentworth. Lovely gardens & nice to sit out by the river for a drink and a snack. Food in the restaurant also very good

A very pleasant experience staying here, however users should be aware that broadband is provided by an intermediary who charges by the hour or the day. This is a practice that has largely been superceded by the universal availability of wireless broadband in hotels and cafes throughout the Europe. Much humbler establishments than this, and indeed peers provide broadband as a standard service to all guests at no additional cost as they recognise that travellers require it as a basic service, which is now more important than having a telephone in the room!! As a frequent traveller I hardly ever use the phone in the room but always use the internet service when provided.

	Location is idyllic in the country, next to the river and in a country house
	Lack of complementary Wireless internet;

excellent,clean beautiful gardens and buildings and the untoilet-trained guests were most enjoyable.Most enjoyable.

It was a last minute booking for my partners birthday. We decided also a night away prior to our wedding coming up was just what we needed. So we were more than pleased with our time at Oakley! We will certainly be interested in visiting you again.
