Sofitel Victoria Warsaw

First-class hotel in a great location - walking distance to Old Town, National Theater shopping areas. Staff very friendly and helpful, good food and bar service. Excellent bedding, with down comforters. Not cheap, but then few things in Europe are, for Americans.

	We chose it for its location and great price during a holiday weekend.

It was a very nice, comfortable hotel. Its location was perfect as it was within walking distance to both the old town and the shopping areas. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that the swimming pool (etc.) were closed for renovation and no-one informed us beforehand.

Hotel and its services were completely OK. The only exemption was the price of the hotel taxi to the airport (see below)

	the hotel taxi to the airport had double price (70 PLZ) in comparison with commercial taxi (38 PLZ)from the airport

It was one of the best hotels I ever been to, maybe with one exception - Chateu Lake Louise (the 8th "golden" floor) in Alberta, Canada.

	Probably the staff - all people were very pleasant, friendly and professional, not to mention how beautiful all ladies were.
	The floor layout, a bit confusing but got over it.
