Hotel Metropol

The hotel itself is a soviet time 11 floor building, although it's being vastly renovated. It's situated close to the business center of Warsaw and not that far from the historical Old Town; it takes 20-30 min to get to the airport. So it's kind of value for money.

	The location's just perfect

My ratings are based on my second stay at Hotel Metropol. The first weekend, I was in a room on the third floor, which was very out-dated. Worse, the room had a coal smell. The second weekend, I was given a room on the seventh floor which was much nicer. I would recommend that a fan be placed in each room during the summer months as it was quite hot. The complimentary breakfast was excellent--one of the finest I've experienced in a European hotel ever in over 30 years of travel.

Nice hotel, but no phone at all during my full stay (one week) and therefore no way to pay by credit card! I am very unsatisfied by the fact that I had to run after a cash machine for the morning of my departure.

Very noisy because of the location.

	The staff at the front desk were very unpleasant and not helpful at all.

Very basic, very old hotel. Room windows and balconies are covered with a whole-building-sized construction net which gives a bad impression. Very basic breakfast but OK. What I didn't like was that people sit to my breakfast table withouth even asking it. Anyway, I got a room here while there were no room elsewhere in the city and it was not expensive. It's OK if you not expect too much.

	Stuff is helpful.
	I didn't like the construction net which covered the the whole building. I found the furniture very old and used - but clean.

Very good value for the money. Great location just beside airport bus and train station.

Good location, bathroom not perfectly cleaned

Dissapointed : Service at reception but i arrived at 0h00, maybe she was tired... Plus : the breakfast: good quality and nice location (Jazz cafe)
