Van der Valk Hotel Vught

had a good time, staff was very helpful

	everything...drinks served by lobby was nice

It was good to be there and the breakfast was 100%

	The personalin the reception was very kind
	The warm and cold water in the shower was bad to mix

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Van der Valk Hotel. The hotel is very dated and in areas could urgently benefit from redecorating. The rooms were clean enough but in the reception area we saw a mouse which was quite disgusting. When reporting this to the staff they did not seem to care. Many were not very friendly and appeared to not enjoy doing their job. This was noticeable when they served us, including after waiting a long time to be served in the reception area lounge.

It was a very bad stay. After the stay they told us that the hotel will be complete renovated in 2008. If that is so and you offer such a bad comfort and room ( especially the bathroom was very uncomfortly and dirty looks ) then why do you ask the normal price. They told us afterwords that we were right about that. Not a stay for coming back; at least not in this situation. Normaly the Valk hotels are no problems. We even go to France in an v.d. Valk hotel at st. Aygul. So this was really a pitty.

	Only the breakfast
	the room was not clean and there was renovation works seen in the room and as mentioned the bathroom was absolutely not clean and goodlooking.

The hotel management has not invested in the rooms as well in the breakfastroom and other parts of the hotel since years. Carpets in the whole hotel are old.

	the reception is not flexible of my questions. The service at breakfast is poor on Sundays only 2 employees for about 80 hotelquest at Breakfasttime
