Mercure Toulouse Wilson

I booked a party of 12 people at the Mercure Wilson and guranteed 6 rooms for 5 nights with my credit card. On departure, the receptionist insisted that all rooms should be charged to my credit card, even though I pointed out to her that my credit card was only a gurantee and they should not take payment from it without my permission. I showed them my booking confirmation,where this was clearly stated, but they wouldn't have any of it. The General Manager was called but was most unhelpful. Eventually, after I threatened to cancel the payment, they agreed to refound my credit card and take individual payments. Their attitude and lack of coustomer care was appalling and spoiled an otherwise perfect brake. I will not use Mercure again.
