Clarion Hotel Sligo

I was very impressed with the hotel overall. We stayed for two nights at a very reasonable rate. I was attending a wedding and my only complaint would be that while we stayed in a double room, other members of our group who booked at the same time and paid the same rate as we did stayed in much larger rooms with seperate livingroom and kitchen. I was a bit disapointed that our room did not have any coffee or tea etc although it did have cups and kettle. Also our room was not made up nor were new towels left on the second day. The room was located quite a distance from the reception and we had to take 3 seperate elevators and walk for over 10 minutes to get to the room. I would stay here again but would request a room with seperate living area or indeed a room closer to reception. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful at all times.

Lack of heating in bedrooms, stayed 8th/11th Oct. Three adults shared suite and had to ask for toiletries for this number of guests. Floor tiles in bathroom and kitchen area required attention. Had to leave the bar after requesting loud and roudy guests to be asked to make less noise and staff taking no action.

very nice hotel it looks like a castle !!! about 15 min walk to the city center. huge room and nice bathroom ( we had the disable one ). with 10 euro you can use internet from your room tv

The bed was two single beds put together. I couldn't get comfortable easy, because one bed was slightly higher than the other. The fire alarm was set off three times during the second night. But that wasn't the hotels fault. Other than that, myself and my husband really enjoyed our break away.

Instructions to find hotel dowloaded from web site were hopeless. We spent ages driving around trying to find it.

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms. Only down point is the fact that the layout of the hotel means it's very long and therefore getting to your room can be a bit of a trek.

The hotel was really very nice with most of the staff very helpful and courteous. It is extremely large and as I booked two family rooms on the same booking I thought it rather strange that we were situated at exact opposite ends of the building - not very convenient for our children!!!

	Rooms very big and spacious. Plenty clean towels, pillows and linen
	We had mix up with our booking - we neither received apology nor confirmation of same - we had to instigate calls. We were going to a wedding and were told we would have a courtesy room for changing in - we were told to change in the pool changing room!!!
