Sharjah Rotana

We stayed here, as it was considerably cheaper than Dubai and not too far from the airport, as my parent s flew early the next morning - though with the Industrial Area roadworks, it took an hour and a quarter to get to Dubai Airport, setting off at 6 am. It was pleasant, staff were lovely, we booked a suite for us and two small boys and a double room for my parents. The suite was great for us all getting together to chill and plan. The bed in each room easily slept two adults and a child. We found Sharjah very difficult to try and walk around with children.

	The breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice and good quality, as was the buffet dinner (96 dhs inc. taxes). The swimming pool was well shaded, so we weren't afraid of the children burning.
	There was a service room next to our suite and I was disturbed by what I think was a washing machine making our headboard vibrate in the early hours - but it can't have been too bad, as I forgot to complain whilst checking out!I certainly wouldn't give it 4 or 5 stars, but 3.The pool was very small, but that was okay on this occasion, as there were only 6 people in it. It was cold in the pool.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Quite comfortable, with excellent staff, but not in the most desirable of locations. However it was very suitable for my business trip.
