Estupendo!! had a wonderful two nights.very central location to explore Santiago de Compostela.
We had a '48 hours in S de C 'from the Independent newspaper, which we refered to. We visited the Museo do Pobo Galego which helped us learn more about the history of Galicia which is sadly lacking in English form. |

Friendly, quiet and peaceful yet right in the centre of Santiago. Development into a hotel has been done most tastefully-beautifully fitted rooms, best materials used, and in keeping with the place.Staff very friendly and efficient.Really excellent breakfast. It of course doesn't have the buzz of a busy city centre hotel,no boutiques in the foyer-- but then we did not want that anyway. 5* for peace, reserved style, service and comfort
The building, the pool, the breakfast, the staff |

if I have to say something then it would be that the atmosphere is slightly austere , but its simplicity is in keeping with itself |

A frendly smile would be nice when you arrive at the hotel.
The location, the historic atmosphere |

We stayed in this hotel for three nights 3rd-6th March 07. The hotel location is brilliant for exploring the old town and within staggering distance of lots of small bars and restaurants. We had a room on the fourth floor overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was spotless and it was cleaned to a high standard everyday. We used the pool facilities everyday and the jaccuzzi(ask for towels at reception no charge). We also ate in the restaurant(one occasion) and had breakfast one morning in the hotel all of which was very good (if you ask they do have an English Menu)Overall our experience of the hotel was excellent and we would stay there again and reccommend it to friends.
The hotel building is fantastic and the blend of old with modern really suited us. Exploring the building is a must to find your way around. |

The pool was a little cold and there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room although there was a mini-bar, but these are really trivial matters. |
