Although the hotel is rated 5 * star, the hotel is clearly understaffed,which refelected in the service of the hotel restaurant and coffe bar, also there was no help with the luggage which you expect in a 5 star hotel, overall a nice hotel,value for money.

The outside was not very appealing but once inside we found the decoration and layout wonderful. Very modern, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and correct at all times. It is within easy walking distance of the centre of Santiago and the walk through the park is very pleasant, this may not be so in the pouring rain but we were lucky and enjoyed wonderful weather over the weekend we stayed there. The breakfast was more than sufficient with plenty or variety. It's an hotel we would most definitely go back to.

	The only thing I found annoying was that we were unable to open the windows but when I asked in reception about this they told me that special handles were available on request. I don't know whether we would have been allowed to have the windows open the whole time but if we stay there again I shall definitely ask as I don't like sleeping without fresh air.
