We found the marina very clean comfortable and relaxing. staff were around if needed otherwise left us in peace

The place was fine but the main receptionist was the most miserable, lack of personality, obviously has some trust issues, needs to learn how to smile, is probably related to the Adams Family - man in the world. And the only other hilereous thing about the place is the lift. Its basically a moving coffin. Enough space for 1 person if you balance your suitcase on your head. BUT for a 2 star hotel we were happily surprised with the size of the room and the comfort.

It was my first visit to Jersey so I had no idea if The Marine Hotel would be in the right kind of location for my short break. Fortunately it was ideal for two girls in their 60's venturing out without their husbands and the hotel felt very safe and friendly which was what we needed. The hotel manager was quite entertaining and very helpful so we enjoyed our stay. There are a few good restaurants close by so there is no need to go into town in the evening unless you want to.

The hotel should allocate tables to room numbers or escort guests to their table at breakfast, as it appeared some tables were reserved and others were not. We were moved from the table we had chosen and this made us feel inferior somehow. I believe there were regular guests there who had table preferences.

Another great short break and made to feel as welcome as those staying one or two weeks. Roms slightly dated but with the way we were welcomed again, who cares.
Friendliness
Car prking is going to become a problem I fear with the forthcoming loss of The Carlton

Enjoyed my stay. No porridge available for breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly atmosphere. Nice double room even though I was a single booking. Easy walk into St Helier and good bus service. A few nice restaurants close by. Would visit again.

Hotel was fine for the price, the staff we most helpful and friendly and i would have no hesitation recomending it.

We enjoied our stay here however some of the decore was outdated and tired.
The staff were friendly and the location was good.
