I found my stay very good. the staff were pleasant and helpful, and made every effort to make our stay pleasant I would and indeed have told other people about you.

The room was very warm, I did not know how to open the windows, although I turned the radiator off.

Very warm and comforting. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful, even when we requested a room change due to other noisy guests. Food very nice.

Overall, a good friendly, welcoming, comfortable visit.

Lovely old fashioned pub/hotel, great value for money, could do with some re decoration in the rooms but overall had a very nice stay.

Just a nice friendly pub with loads of charm, breakfast was lovely pub food was nice.

the bedrooms could do with a lick of paint and the bathroom could do with up dating,

For us, visiting friends in the town, its central location was very good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The evening meal was especially enjoyable with very generous portions.

Comfort rating down slightly: our room was fine and comfortable but temperature of water for baths/showers never quite got above lukewarm. It was only a one night stay so not terminal.
