Golden Tulip Rotterdam Centre

We arived ad 18.15 and the breakfastplates from the last guest where stil standing in the hal in front of our door(not so good)rest fine

The room has a vestibule that also contains a clothes closet. The second door of this vestibule slams into the bed, demonstrating how small the room really is. Cost of the hotel greater than Roterdam. Room cleaning absolutely poor bed: sheets just pulled up, something I could have done, garabage not picked up, room not wiped down- stain on side table remained for three days until I wiped it Howeverall all rating abve average for Amsterdam. The staff were excellent. Location is very convient for sight-seeing.

I was generally very pleased. I have some comments, which are not intended to be serious criticisms, but which hopefully motivate the management to improve further. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, just know that you have to eat and drink elsewhere. There are some excellent restaurants along the Boompjes, just around the corner and downtown Rotterdam is well within walking distance or by public transit. I have already made a reservation for my next stay. I look forward to seeing the improvements by then.

The panoramic view of Rotterdam from the room was great. Easy internet access in the lobby was great.

The parking situation is completely inadequate. To park in the Erasmus garage and lug your luggage to and from the hotel is unacceptable. The hotel's own parking is still under construction, but even when finished it has very limited capacity and in any event does not appear very secure. I had no meals in the hotel, so I can not comment on the kitchen, but the restraurant appeared unappealing to me. The bar is dismal. The bar staff was very friendly, but the place has zero atmosphere.

Staff is very friendly. The rooms are new, of course clean and the furnishing is nice. Still, the atmosfere is a bit cold. Good quality of breakfast.

	The 'champagne' in the breakfast was rather bitter.
