Staff were very courteous and friendly. Rooms were very generous and well maintained. Location was very good. It was very close to all the sights and had good links to transport. It was close to restaurants mand cafes for snacks also. |

Woudl have preferred to have drink making facilities in the hotel room as the bar was not open. |

Great location, about a 5 minute walk to Republica Metro, and 10 minutes to Termini. We walked pretty much everywhere, but caught the metro to Vatican City. We stayed for 3 nights in a double room which comprised of 2 singles. The beds were extremely hard! Bathroom was essentially a shower room, very small, and in desperate need of renovating. The air con was good however, it wouldn't work one night so we found it quite uncomfortable. The in-room safe was a lock up compartment within the wardrobe (I think, as it's the only thing that we found with a lock on it) but the lock was broken. So we locked up valuables in our bags. There were renovations taking place on part of the building which our room looked out on. Breakfast was quite basic, croissants, bread rolls, cheese, juice and coffee and tea. We only had breakfast 1 out of the 3 days and found grabbing a coffee on the street was much better. Overall, decent for the price you pay, but just a basic 3 star hotel in a good location.

Great location, sights and trainstation at walkingdistance. Near by buses. Nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff in reception. Quiet at night. Beds uncomfortable, too hard. The stuff in breakfastroom was sometimes too busy and rude (except from one helpful and sparkling lady.)Coffe in machine tasted awful. We had no key to frontdoor of the hotel as it was locked up between 02.00-05.00 at night. We could ring the bell but what if no one heard it??

Hotel Zara is a great, great place, excellent location and excellent price. I have been in many, many hotels in Rome as I travel often to Rome and this hotel is the best so far!!!
Rooms have nice, big bathrooms. Location of hotel is excellent. During Christmas time the hotel had beautiful Christmas trees and beautiful ornaments in the breakfast room. The breakfast room is very well furnished, a very warm place to stay!!!!! |

We liked everything. Other hotels in Rome are terrible!!!!!! |
