It had the elegance of older Europe. Convenient to the airport and town of Pula. Classy for a two star rating.
We found this place on a fluke; we missed our flight from London to Zadar, and the only ticket to Croatia we could get was to Pula. We made our booking with Hotel Riviera without knowing anything about it, and what an amazing surprise we got when we pulled up to it! The place is old and gorgeous; you can certainly tell it was once the grandest hotel you could find. Although you can see some wear and tear, the place is still in good shape and just lovely. As you walk through the halls you can just feel the history seeping through the walls; it's like being in a movie! The staff was very friendly and helpful; they let us move to a room with a better view, and made recommendations of places to go in Pula. I definitely recommend this hotel! Way better to stay somewhere with some history than to stay at the modern resort-y type places you could find anywhere in the world.
very gooood!!!
AN old hotel with the atmosphere that every second there could enter Madame Boveri the hall. baut for a weekénd to have nice sightseeing in Pula perfekt.
