The location, setting, quiet, clean room, the availability of staff. Very pleasant and memorable stay in this hotel full of charm.
2 small negative points that have not wasted our time: The indicated as free wifi in the rooms and pay on arrival. Breakfast. For this class hotels we were used to better, but it may be necessary to return to the standards.

We very much enjoyed our stay the Appia,it lived up to our expectations.Our room was was new but had lots of character and was very comfortable.

Excellent location,handy for the castle area and quiet, there is no traffic noise.Breakfast varied and good quality,althaugh coffee could have been hotter.Our stay celebrated my husbands 60th birthday the hotel kindly gave us half a bottle of "champagne".
The bathroom was very clean and well fernished but the shower over the bath did not work.We reported it at reception on our first of three nights but got no response.
