Hotel Plitvice

Excellent choice

A pleasant hotel to stay at, in a beautiful location, with helpful, friendly staff. The rating for the included breakfast would be only 2 at the most. These were substandard for a three star hotel, with poor choice and bad coffee. The a la carte dinner was good. The building in the bedroom areas is rather stark and gloomy and is in urgent need of refurbishment.

The hotel is fine , nothing to brag about but the national park is definitly worth seeing

A VERY LOVELY OLD STYLE HOTEL - WAS NOT BUSY SO GOT A HUGE ROOM FOR THE SAME PRICE - IT WAS QUIET AND GREAT.

Very nice hotel, excellent restaurant with excellent food and service. The room had a window that opened so I opened it for the fresh air. When I opened the window the heat came on. I asked the front desk about that and she said the only way to have the heat off is to turn it off and close the window, with the window open the heat automatically comes on!! Crazy.

• Took the tour of the upper lakes one day and lower lakes the next.
• Let me open the room window with the heat remaining off.

It's the real thing - slightly old-fashioned, but comfortable, clean, with excellent food and helpful staff.

• We particularly liked the atmosphere in the dining room in the evening with colourful, 70's lights, space, nicely set tables, excellent and prompt service.
• Air-conditioning in rooms was not functioning very effectively.

WE CAME EARLY IN A RAINY DAY AND GOT BETTER ROOMS BEFORE CHECK IN TIME. STAFF WAS HELPFUL AND FOOD WAS GOOD. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT. WE HAD TO GO TO THE NEAR HOTEL TO BUY RAINCOATS BUT NEVERMIND. THANK YOU FOR THE SERVICE.
