Patterdale Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay,we had a warm welcome, and were well looked after. The food was delicious, especially the breakfasts, and there was a good choice of wine at reasonable prices. The children could mix and match between the standard and childrens menu. Our rooms were comfortable and clean although the decor is looking tired. The bar and lounge were comfortable, with lots of board games to play.

	The piped music in the bar, and it did feel slightly cold at times in the bar given that it was very cold weather, but the bedrooms were lovely and warm.

An extremely comfortable hotel with excellent food and service. The restaurant provided a first class menu cooked to perfection.

We think the hotel is good value for money as well as being clean, well run and evening entertainment is provided. All in all we were absolutely delighted with it and thoroughly reccomend it.

Very nice hotel and good value for money. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly apart from one -NO NAMES - Food excellent. In all a very enjoyable holiday and will be visiting again and have recommended to allmy friends and work mates

Ideal location to walk. Easy reach of the lakes and other centres. We certainly will come again. I couldn't fault it. The staff were efficient and pleasant. The management were excellent..a nice quiet approach..makes a chane. There was a good team at this hotel. Just what we wanted..no fuss.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Patterdale Hotel. The location is lovely and the suggested walks from the hotel very helpful. The staff were extremely pleasant particularly those in the restaurant. The food was good and plentiful and there was ample choice. We were made to feel very welcome and will certainly return again. The rooms at the front of the hotel are much better than the room we had at the back and we will opt for a better room in the future. The hotel is excellent value for money.

An ideal location for walking. useful map provided by the hotel. Food and service in the dining room could not be faulted. The young staff took a personal interest in care of our party. The hotel was not fancy, but very good value for money.

	Coffee/tea in the lounge after dinner was a nice touch
