The hotel was easy to find and within a few stops of Gare de Nord station. The room was bigger than we had expected and the bathroom was fairly big for a Paris Hotel, with a full sized bath and excellent shower. Toiletries were renewed daily as was the bed linen and towels . There was a mini bar , bath robes, a safe and other little extras were provided. We had a 6ft wide bed which was very comfortable. Unfortunately there were no English channels on the TV, however, BBC World news was available. Two metro stations were within easy walking distance (Villiers and Rome) and there was a good choice of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops close to the hotel. The metro is very easy to navigate and we purchased a 5 day metro ticket at the Eurostar ticket office in London. This cost £20 and we made huge savings from using this. It included the funicular railway at Sacre Coeur and rail travel to Versailles.
I would definately stay at Villa Eugenie again because it was ideally situated, very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. |

Our room overlooked a very noisy and busy road junction adjacent to a railway line. However, when the windows were closed it cut out 90% of the noise and it didn't bother us. There is air con in the summer, so the windows could be kept closed at night. |

I mind saying him but this hotel, to my opinion, it doesn't have any characteristic (apart the price...) to be considered 4 stars. Nobody speaks in Italian and there is no net of the Italian TV.
The rooms are very small |

Expensive for what it is. Not the comfort of a 4 stars.
I forget something in the room , i phone 3 times to ask about it, they finally saiy they will send it to me, nothing never arrives... |

The staff was very nice and helpful. The undergroung (Villiers)is not far from the hotel. The area is pleasant, there is some shops and bars. Ther is a railway station very closed to the hotel. The traffic is also huge in this area. I had to change my room because of the noise. However, in my second room, I still hear the railway and the traffic.

The bathroom could have had a good and thorough cleaning. The location is a bit out of the city center. All in all good value for rate
Nice and quiet hotel |

nice and quite hotel for people who loves the "louis XIV"-style
we liked the romantic style of the rooms and the quite and nice atmosphere of the whole hotel |
|
very small room, roof in the bathroom had some large mildew stains and needs to be fixed |

It is an old, good, hotel, but the location is not the best! Railway is close (in front of the hotel) and Metro's stations are not at "walking distance" (more than 10-15 minutes).

Good value for money because I had a special rate of 90€; otherwise it is too expensive for the services rendered.

The only downsid of our stay was that we didn't get our wakeup call the day we were leaving and made for a stressful departure. Other than that, it was wonderful and we would recommend it to friends. There was a small market store and cheap interet access steps away from the hotel as well and everything is Paris was easily reachable by transit.
