Saint-James & Albany Hotel-Spa

very comfortable place to stay the courtyard restaurant was delightful as we had very good weather, although some of the staff were a little off hand. There were a few minor probloems with the room, for instance the windows jammed shut so that we were unable to take full advantge of the weather and to hear the pianist in the piano bar. Also the swimming pool was closed, and there was no rate resuction for this although this was one of the features of the horel, but I would stay there again.

	bad smell at the coridor( as well as in the romm ) due to refurbishment of corridor by some synthetical colour. This was reason for the change of room, which was done thanks to receptionist in duty immediately
	underground floor and ongoing renovation of corridor producing bad smell also in the room

Saint-James & Albany met with our expectations.

	The only thing we did not like with our room was the toilet room that was too small and the door made it almost impossible to use the toilet!?!

The location could not be better - right by the Louvre and Tuileries, and within easy walking distance of Notre Dame and environs. The public rooms were beautifully appointed and the spa pool very pleasant. However, our room was disappointing: it was dingy and toiletries etc. were minimal. Breakfast was not included and was a very costly extra.

	The staff in reception were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and steam room were attractive and very relaxing.
	Our room was disappointingly plain and dismal. I would recommend the hotel but only with reservations.

I have booked for my family an appartment for 4 people and we were very disappointed when we received a very claustrofobic room with very low ceilings on the 1st floor. The sink in the bathroom was blocked up and I asked the staff several times to unblock it, but nothing happened during our 4 days stay.

	I'm really sorry, but I can't say anything good about this hotel.
	Mostly the room and the staff

The hotel is way overdue for a renovation of rooms. We with friends had two rooms on different floors. The bellboys are mostly invisible = overworked, looks like that the concierge is overworked as well. Lifts, TV did not work, inspite of complaints maintenance was unavailable. Staff tried hard, so the problem is Management and Owner. The best was the bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day experience of the hotel.It is ideal for sight-seeing and within walking distance of all main attractions. All the staff were particularly helpful.

An excellently located hotel with very courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast service was efficient although a wider choice of items during breakfast would be appreciated. The cleanliness in the public areas was very good however there is room for improvement for cleanliness in the guest rooms.

Location was great. Staff were extremely helpful. I asked for an iron, ironing board and adapter and they were in my room in about 15 minutes. The pool is lovely, really calming decor. Good choice at breakfast. Nice bar, decent bar food (although the portions could have been bigger!). Would recommend it.
