Le Pavillon Bastille

My grandchild and myself really enjoyed our stay in your hotel. The room and ensuite was spotless and the staff were very helpful

	It is a pity there is not a small bar area in the hotel, as because I was with my grandchild and could not go out much at night it meant we were in the hotel room from about 8 p m each night

A VERY PLEASANT STAY, SADLY ONLY OVERNIGHT, MADE TO FEEL WELCOME AND GREATLY ASSISTED BY GOOD STAFF. BASICALLY - NO COMPLAINTS.

	THE CENTRAL LOCATION, ACCESS TO MANY OF THE WELL ESTABLISHED SITES OF PARIS.
	TRAFFIC NOISE ON A HOT NIGHT. IT WAS TOLERABLE THOUGH.

We loved this hotel, the staff were very friendly and we felt very staff. a good location to the metro and to get around paris.

	It was very clean. we had the suite and it was a very good size!

Everything brilliant only bad thing was minor construction work on the opera building on the other side of Rue de Lyon, it disturbed us in the morning but it's nothing you can control so we are very satisfied and would return.

Situated next to trainstations, calm, cosy.

The hotel was being refurbished while we were there which has obviously affected our rating. However they tried to keep the inconvenience to a minimum. We went out for breakfast so cannot comment on that aspect. The room was plain but adequate. The description "boutique hotel" we thought was misleading having stayed in boutique hotels in the "Mr & Mrs Smith" category. The bath was very small, my husband couldn't fit in it, but there was an efficient shower.A good well lit mirror was a plus.Everything was very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly, putting up with my attempts at French with humour, and speaking good English. They booked a table for us in a lovely restaurant after I had e-mailed them before the holiday. Position is good. 2 minutes from the Place de la Bastille, which has cafes galore. There is a taxi rank, metro, and bus stops.
