Despite several requests, staff were unable or unwilling to change what was probably the least comfortable bed I have slept in over the last 20years and hundreds of hotel nights. The room was also quite small, and the bathroom had a panel left open onto plumbing and electrics, right next to the toilet. I had to turn sideways to enter the shower area, and I'm an average build man. The sound insulation seemed to be non-existent, with Saturday night in particular being very noisy as guests returnd from an evening (or early morning) out.

Bed. Staff response to requests to do something about the bed. Noise. |

The hotel was fabulous and the staff excellent. They were friendly and helpful at all times.
The hotel was in a fabulous location. We were close to transport and were easily able to walk around the city. |

Everything was fabulous! |

Nice location, convenient to the OECD and to 2 metro stations. Hotel is neat and comfortable, but the bedroom was smaller than I would have liked.
I liked location, proximity to amenities, especially public transport, and the courtesy of the check in staff. |

Bedroom was small. Not adequate space for a suitcase, or room to sit comfortably at the desk in the room |

Primitive overpriced hotel , not service minded staff. Toilet seat broken, lights not functioning, was being charged upon arrival. They were renovating the hotel during our stay and the smell from paint was horrible, elevator not functioning. No breakfast left at 8.30 a.m. - had to wait while they went to get more bread, made more coffee etc. The receptionist could not help us make reservation at a restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Fantastic location and staff, who where very helpful. On the negative the hotel is in need of a little spurce up, but having said that the price was resonable.

Good location, but the room was not that good as it looked in the picture...

Our rooms were small for sure, but they opened out to a lovely market street that was both charming and convenient. Staff went overboard to help with special needs - in our case someone had to get a bicycle shipped to Marseille quickly. Good local eats.
Quick walk down the hill to Trocadero, Tour Eiffel. |

Small bare bones rooms, infintesimally small elevator. But how much time do you spend in the elevator. Big problem was lighting, which was almost nonexistent. More bulbs please! |

I have been coming here for many years and the great thing about this hotel is its location. On a quiet street that is virtually pedestrianised with lots of real French shops (as opposed to those catering for tourists) around and some good restaurants and cafes. I would suggest going out for breakfast rather than sitting in the rather gloomy basement. Rooms are not big and quite basic, but have everything you need and there is WiFi (extra charge).
