the hotel has a great location,lots of good bars and bistros in the neighbourhood, very close to the Metro, breakfast unusually good, friendly desk staff. and we were able to book direct for our two children (under 18)which seemed unusual it was also very quiet - something important for us! one of the two rooms we had was very small - but not a major problem

	ready supply of extra bedding etc when requested, good supply of newspapers available
	It would have been good to have free access to the internet on the computer in the lobby - not a major issue

very good for the price

+: Quiet hotel, very little streetnoise or noise from other guests. Good bed. Clean (except for stains on the carpet). Good shower. Friendly, helpfull staff. Central location. Lots of bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. +/-: if you are very big or obese you may find the room + bathroom too small. For us this was not a problem. - the price. With a good discount this would be a good deal though. Breakfast is not included. Not much atmosphere.

	The peace and quiet + the bed.

The hotel was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there in 2001. The hotel itself was clean and generally well-kept, but its alley-way setting was not the best as taxis would not enter the alley and guests had to carry / drag luggage about one block. The staff were all courteous, helpful and spoke English. Its pricing seemed high for the location and overall quality when compared to Left Bank hotels which had better locations and exposure.
