Academie Hotel Saint Germain

Somewhat small rooms but that was expected. Neat and tidy, great decor. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris. Perfect location.

a shabby hotel not worth staying in again

qur room rather small but reasonable for a short stay. breakfast offered eggs & ham in addition to normal french faire & not expensive for the area.

the hotel is in a good location near the metro line saint michel near to notre dame and louvre museum you wont need taxi cab never neither to get into the airport or the main train stations always is clean its quiet and have good facilities perfect for a couple or either honeymoon

The hotel is in a great location, it was quiet and I like staying in smaller independent hotels. The staff were always helpful, although only sometimes cheerful. The hallways are dark and uninviting. The immmediate environment is colorful and has a terrific history, both recent (bars where Sartre and friends gathered) and ancient (1000 year old church that Peter Abelard would have visited and where I attended an evening violin recital). In a future visit, I would pay about 30% more for a more pleasant and cheerful hotel.

The hotel is nicely situated in the heart of St. Germain de Pres. Our room was very , very small , though it was said to be " upper class ". We had no space for our luggage. The breakfast room was dark and not so appealing , so we went to a close -by brasserie for breakfast. We had to carry our luggage ourselves up into the 3 rd floor. By lift, but a very small one. We had to go twice ....

	The staff , except one man when we arrived , was not so friendly and helpful , as we exspected ...No help with luggage ! There were no umbrellas to borrow ... For all that the price was too high.

I have nothing but good things to say. This was my second time stay here. The breakfast was fantastic, and the rooms were very clean.

	The location was very central. We were only a few block from everything we want to see. The chocolate shop next store was a plus

The hotel was very nice and sitauted in a great position which made it easy to get to all the main sites. The staff were always helpful and friendly.

	During the stay we visited all the main tourist sites, went out for meals and drinking.

the bathromm must be renovated, showers too small.
